Preparation/Usage

Please read the cleaning instructions in your machine manufacturer's manual in advance!

Prepare a cleaning solution by mixing 125 ml of our Coffeecare Descaler with 500 ml of water. Allow the mixture to act on the areas to be cleaned for 15 minutes and then rinse with plenty of fresh water to thoroughly remove the dissolved limescale residue.

If your machine manufacturer generally prescribes that the cleaning fluid be run through the machine via the water tank, rinse it two to three times with fresh water.

If your machine has a cleaning program, follow its instructions. If your fully automatic coffee machine does not have a cleaning program, please add the cleaning solution to the water tank and prepare a hot cup of water several times until the water tank is empty. Then repeat the procedure two to three times with fresh water.

If you want to descale a filter coffee machine without a descaling program, pour the cleaning solution into the water tank and switch on the machine. As soon as a part of the cleaning mixture has passed through the entire machine, switch off the machine and let our Coffeecare descaler work for 15 minutes. Then let the remaining cleaning solution run through. Your machine must then be rinsed two to three times with clear water.
